This is a great week! We host at our house this week. We have great drink, great good, and a great group of kids doing things they love. Come show your support for our Comet Youth and get some lunch while you are there! We hope to see everyone out there!

A couple game day reminders:
Elgin 1 5th/6th grade arrive no later than 1230p, 3rd/4th grade arrive no later than 130p and Elgin 2 5th/6th grade arrive no later than 230p. Water will be available on the sideline but personal water bottles are allowed. Admission is $2 for adults cash only. The concession stand will be open. Per a new rule this year, no parents or fans inside the fenced area. Everyone must stand or sit in the bleachers. There will be no sitting in the end zones or along the field or you will be asked to move. Finally, please please please be respectful to the referees. As always any questions please feel free to reach out to me. Let’s end the weekend with 3 wins!

I need 2 to 3 adult volunteers to be a referee for our youth games on September 6th. You will be paid for your time. There will be certified refs for all the games and cheat sheets to follow. Please message if interested.

Based on what I am seeing on the radar it looks like the wind might shift and we are going to get hit with more rain than I expected. With that being said I am cancelling today’s practice and rescheduling for Thursday. Thursday will be same time and place if you are able to make it that would be great. We will plan on practice tomorrow as scheduled.

Happy to announce we have some delicious food and drink options for when we host games on September 6th! So please come out and support our youth athletes and enjoy some good food!
