Exciting progress at our Raeford, NC manufacturing facility!

Our newly modernized dyehouse brings state-of-the-art technology into the full process flow—enhancing quality, efficiency, and consistency in the worsted wool fabrics we proudly produce for U.S. military dress uniforms. Developed with our equipment partners Symtech Inc., Adaptive Inc., and NCS, this one-of-a-kind installation for worsted wool dyeing also reduces water and energy use, supporting our commitment to smarter, more sustainable manufacturing.

Burlington celebrated the commissioning of our newly modernized dyehouse at our Raeford, NC manufacturing facility. This installation marks a significant investment in the future of domestic textile production and the continued support of the U.S. military. The ribbon-cutting ceremony brought together company leaders—including Elevate Textiles CEO Jeffrey P. Pritchett and Burlington President Guy Lucas—employees, community partners, and elected officials to recognize the project completion and the Raeford operation’s important role in the U.S. textile manufacturing base.

Burlington extends its sincere thanks to U.S. Representative Richard Hudson, NC Representative Garland Pierce, Raeford Mayor John K. McNeill III, Hoke County Board of Commissioners Chairman James Leach, and Hoke County Commissioner Mary Blue McCollum for their attendance and support.

The second day of FEDTEX 2026 kicked off this morning at the McKimmon Conference and Training Center at NC State in Raleigh, N.C., with a packed ballroom and strong energy from across the defense textile and manufacturing sectors.

Hosted by the North Carolina Military Business Center (NCMBC), this year’s event has drawn a record 450 attendees and 67 exhibitors, highlighting the growing importance of innovation, collaboration and domestic supply chain capabilities supporting the U.S. military.

The opening session featured keynote remarks from Brigadier General Sean P. Kelly, commander of Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, who addressed the critical role of partnerships, readiness and resilient sourcing in supporting America’s warfighters.

Top leaders from our parent company, Elevate Textiles, visited Capitol Hill to attend legislative summits held by two key trade associations - the Warrior Protection & Readiness Coalition and the National Council of Textile Organizations. We are grateful for the efforts of these associations who advocate for a strong U.S. textile industry and the importance of key military textile products that Burlington produces.

While in Washington, our team had a chance to meet with congressional offices representing our operations in North Carolina. We appreciate the time and support from Senator Ted Budd and Rep. Richard Hudson.
