We're busy pricing, cleaning, and staging for our very first pop-up next weekend, and it's starting to come together! Every shelf is filling up with handpicked vintage finds—primitive pieces, farmhouse favorites, old books, artwork, linens, and all the little treasures that make a house feel like home.

These are just a few little peeks at what's waiting. There are so many more pieces that haven't even made it to the display yet!

If you love the hunt and appreciate old things with a story, we hope you'll come spend some time with us.

Friday, July 17 & Saturday, July 18

Who's planning to stop by? We'd love to see some familiar faces! 🤍

As I was checking out, she smiled and said,
"You got everything from Grandpa's attic. I told him nobody would want those. He'll be so happy you got them."
If only she knew.
These are the pieces I get excited about. The handwritten letters. The postcards that traveled across the country decades ago. The Christmas cards someone tucked away instead of throwing out. The little handmade treasures that don't have a price tag on the memories they hold.
I don't see "old stuff." I see a family's history that deserves another chapter.
Some of these will find new homes with collectors. Some will end up in someone's Christmas display. Some will be used in junk journals or tucked into an old cupboard, where they'll spark conversations all over again.
Knowing Grandpa gets to hear that someone truly wanted the things he'd held onto for years... that might be my favorite part of the whole day.

I had to drop in for an early restock because you all have been keeping me busy! Since I won’t be able to get back to the booth for the next few weeks, I made sure to pack it to the brim with some incredible "new" old treasures.
There are plenty of fresh finds waiting to be discovered and brought home, so come on out and do a little digging while I'm away! *Check out our new business cards*

Drop a comment if you stop by—I'd love to know what catches your eye. Happy hunting!

There are a lot of reasons we love what we do, but moments like this are at the top of the list.
There are perks to having a picker as a friend...."Hey Joy... my grandma had this metal bread box. Can you find me one?" I'd never come across one before, but challenge accepted.
Almost a year later... here she is. She's beautiful.
Could I have sold it in the booth? Absolutely. But sometimes the best finds aren't the ones that make us money—they're the ones that take someone right back to their grandma's kitchen.
That's what picking is really about for us. It's the stories, the memories, and helping people reconnect with a small piece of their past. Finding something that has been gone for decades and putting it back into someone's hands is a feeling that's hard to describe.
This one was worth every mile, every early morning, and every stop along the way. ❤️

People often ask us how Farmhouse 180 got started.

The funny thing is... it all began because I wanted a red plaid thermos for my Christmas decorating.

Sean and I have always loved wandering thrift stores, flea markets, auctions, and garage sales. Finding that thermos turned into looking for an old scale... then a basket... then an ironstone pitcher.

We live in my grandparents' farmhouse, and over the years we made it our goal to slowly replace reproduction décor with authentic vintage pieces. Every item we brought home had a story, a history, and a feeling you just can't buy new.

As we replaced things, we'd sell what we no longer needed at our garage sales. People really loved what we had to offer. So we tried flea markets, then holiday shows, and for years we kept hearing the same question:
"Do you have a booth?"

The timing never seemed right. We both work, waiting lists were long, and we weren't sure it was something we wanted to take on.

Then one random Saturday changed everything.
We walked into Madison Trading Post, saw an empty booth, talked to the owner, and signed the paperwork that day. We went home, tagged over 250 pieces that evening, and the very next day Farmhouse 180 officially opened its doors.

Looking back, it's hard to believe how one little Christmas decorating idea led us here.

I'm Joy, this is Sean, and together we're Farmhouse 180.

We believe everyone deserves a home filled with pieces they love without spending a fortune. But even more than that, we love helping people find something that reminds them of Grandma's kitchen, Grandpa's workshop, or a home they haven't thought about in years. We love being able to save pieces otherwise forgotten and giving inspiration on how to style them in your home or using them in different ways.

The conversations, the stories, the friendships we've made... those have become our favorite part of this adventure.

Thank you for supporting our little dream, stopping by the booth, following along, and cheering us on. We truly appreciate every one of you.

We're just getting started, and we can't wait to see where this road takes us. ❤️

It's finally happening... our very first Farmhouse 180 Primitive Farmhouse Pop Up!

For the first time, we're opening up our new garage and filling it with the primitive and farmhouse pieces we've been gathering. We've found so much lately that I just couldn't bear to pack it all away in the booth, so we decided it was time to try something new!

If you love primitives, weathered wood, rusty treasures, baskets, stoneware, ironstone, handmade pieces, and one-of-a-kind vintage finds, I think you'll enjoy this sale.

Whether you've shopped with us before or have been wanting to visit, we'd love to see you. Come spend a little time digging through old treasures, say hello, and hopefully take home something that speaks to you.
We can't wait to welcome you to Farmhouse 180!

Treasures in the Trunk: A Peek into a Past Life
At the estate sale, I found a literal rolling time capsule—an old truck packed to the brim with pieces of a life well-lived.
You can see the history and the soul of the original owner through what they left behind.
While some might just see a forgotten stash, I see endless potential. These tattered, beautifully worn pieces are absolutely perfect for adding an honest patina to your home accents, filling vintage frames, or adding authentic, storytelling layers to your junk journaling projects.

Make sure you swipe all the way to the end! The last three photos absolutely stole my heart. There is a sweet, handwritten note to Granny, and right next to it, a little piece about a dog. ♥️

As a picker, my absolute favorite moments are when I’m sorting through chaotic boxes and dusty totes, looking for the forgotten treasures that everyone else completely overlooks. It’s all about seeing the potential in what others leave behind!
Take a look at this doll dress and bonnet that was tucked away at the bottom of a pile, they could have easily been missed. They might look simple at first glance, but with a little love and the right styling, they truly shine.
I decided to lean into those cozy, primitive vibes by styling them using simple sticks gathered right from my yard and some basic twine.
Never underestimate the beauty hidden in the bottom of an old estate sale box!

Estate Sale Finds: Part 2
If there is one vintage category I will absolutely never be able to resist, it’s salt and pepper shakers. They have so much personality packed into such a tiny footprint, and this week's estate sale haul delivered some absolute treasures!
I couldn't say no to any of these, but a few completely stole my heart. First up, look at this long cow shaker! The design is genius—salt in the front and pepper in the back. It is the definition of farmhouse.
Then there’s the miniature ironing board and matching irons set. The detail on these is incredible, and they are giving me the ultimate rustic, nostalgic vibes. Honestly, don't ask me to pick a favorite out of this batch because I absolutely cannot choose.
Which one is your favorite?

It's a sensory time machine stepping into an estate sale. I don't get the chance to hit them very often around here, but I managed to sneak away to one this week, and the moment I walked through the door, it hit me.
It smelled exactly like my grandma’s house.
Suddenly, I wasn’t just looking at vintage inventory—I was a little girl again, running through rooms filled with love, history, and that unmistakable, comforting warmth. Seeing all those familiar pieces styled on shelves and tucked into corners brought back a flood of sweet childhood memories. It is a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do. We aren’t just finding old things; we are rescuing pieces of a story, honoring the spaces people built, and keeping those comforting, nostalgic feelings alive.
Did you grow up surrounded by vintage pieces too? What is the one item or scent that instantly takes you back to your grandparents' house? Let me know in the comments.
