One of my favorite purchases recently! These little mini bowling pins are actually trophies…but I couldn’t help seeing them as the cutest little display piece.

Sometimes you find something made for one purpose and give it a whole new life. I love finding pieces like that and figuring out where they belong in my home.

More finds from the James Gibson estate…
James obviously had a love for airplanes, and this collection is such a fun glimpse into this part of his life. These pieces all came from the trunk of his life journey —vintage airplane booklets and prints, photographs, postcards, wooden airplane pieces, and all sorts of little pieces of aviation history.

I was going to assemble the wooden airplanes myself, but then I thought…why should I? I think an airplane enthusiast would have so much more fun putting these together themselves and bringing them back to life.

The BIG NEWS is finally out… Farmhouse 180 got a second booth!

And the best part? It’s right next to our first one, so now we have one big L-shaped booth at Madison Trading Post.

We already had a lot of inventory toted and ready for a Masculine, Metals & Moody kind of setup, so when we got the news, we jumped into action. In just a day and a half, we tagged everything and got the new space set up today!

Every time we’re at the booth, at least one person stops to tell us how much they love our booth and our prices… and they always shop out booth. Honestly, that’s such a big part of why we LOVE doing this. We love hunting for the good stuff, putting it all together, and seeing you all enjoy it too.

How does one acquire ALLLL the things?!

I’m pretty sure the answer is: one estate sale, flea market, auction, roadside find, and “I can’t leave that behind” at a time.

But… there’s a reason I’ve been collecting all the things lately, and BIG NEWS is coming tomorrow!

I’ve always been a white, creamy, toasty ironstone girl. That’s what I’ve collected for years…until lately when I started opening myself up to a little blue.
And I have to say, I’m loving it.
The blue and white pieces feel so simple and farmhouse to me as opposed to the other colors. They blend beautifully with the ironstone I already have, while adding just enough color to make everything interesting.
How beautiful are these pieces?

Vintage clocks…another thing I love and hoard… I mean, collect.

I don’t know what it is about an old clock, but I can rarely leave one behind at a good price. The faces, the numbers, the different shapes and cases, the little details—and of course, the fact that most of them still show a little bit of their history.

Apparently, I’m building quite the clock collection… and honestly, I’m not mad about it.

You guys have been keeping us BUSY! We truly appreciate every sale, every visit, and all the support you’ve given Farmhouse 180 this month.

So…we had to do another quick restock...and I’m not mad about it because LOOK at those pie plates! Aren’t they beauties? The vintage recipes, the graphics, the colors…they’re the kind of pieces that make me want to bake something just so I can use them.

We added a little bit of everything this time—vintage cookbooks, kitchen pieces, primitive farmhouse finds, rusty crusty goodies, and plenty of smalls to dig through. We are starting to get ready for fall and incorporating all the fall colors. Come see us!

Every spot in the house is an opportunity to decorate.

On the left, all those bowls were my grandmother’s, which makes that little stack so much more special to me.

On the right… I got lucky this summer. And when I say rock-bottom prices, I mean I felt like I was stealing them!

The huge scale is from an estate sale, the beehive bowls, and that yellow ware bowl… absolutely gorgeous- garage sale finds. I love finding pieces individually and then seeing how beautifully they come together once they’re home.

And honestly, those little unexpected spots in the house might be some of my favorite places to decorate.

Some finds are easy to put a price tag on...and some never even make it to the sale.

This old vintage hand trowel was originally headed to the booth. Then I had a vision..set it on top of this rusty old bread box with an old Boscul peanut butter jar, a typewriter key, a glass store jar, and a little greenery...and that was it. It wasn't for sale anymore.

The best part? It came from our own property. Knowing it spent years right here on this farm makes it even more special. Some treasures are meant to find a new home...and some were always meant to stay in ours.
