If you are “of a certain age”, or your parents are, you might have played this game at Mrs. Swim’s home for a birthday party in the 50’s?
I happened upon a garage sale and scored some sweet stuff. Mrs. Swim took very nice care of all her belongings and saved everything, bless her heart. It was quickly apparent that she was quite crafty, loved kittens and poodles, handmade holiday decorations and celebrated 50 years of marriage to Theo in 1973. Yep, I also took a box of saved greeting cards, dating back to the 40”s and 50’s, old Greenup newspaper clippings, the list continues. I am so honored to have acquired some of her sweet d stuff.

It’s official.
The Shimmy Shack is in the midst of moving to Greenup! Village of Porches and a mere 6 or 7 blocks off the I-70.🚗🚕🛻
We will be setting up shop in this neat, old building. Monthly hootenanny held in municipal building across the street first Saturday of each month. I can hear the music out front of the new shack setting🪕
Maybe a soft open in late September. Might roll a few racks of clothing out front for a peek sneak👀.
So much vintage goodness to share and lots of space to fill with awesomeness . Can’t wait to see you there!
