There’s just something about vintage Pyrex. From colorful mixing bowls to patterned casseroles and everyday kitchen pieces, Pyrex found its way into kitchens across generations—and many of those pieces are still being used and collected today.

We have a variety of vintage Pyrex waiting in our booth, including colorful mixing bowls, Autumn Harvest pieces, Butterfly Gold and more. 🍂💛

We’ve also included a vintage Pyrex advertisement for a little glimpse back at how these colorful classics were originally sold. Talk about a walk through history!

Remember when Tupperware was in just about every kitchen? 💛💚🧡

Tupperware parties, colorful bowls, pitchers, cake carriers and containers for just about everything — these pieces were made to be used, and so many of us remember them from our own kitchens or our parents’ and grandparents’ kitchens.

We took a little walk through vintage Tupperware advertising, too, and couldn’t resist this old “Tupperware freshness is our promise” ad. Take a look at all those familiar colors and pieces!

The Muppets, Smurfs, Archie, Star Trek, Alvin & the Chipmunks…and that’s just a few of the ones we’ve collected along the way.

Some came from restaurants and promotions, some started life as jelly jars, and plenty of them actually got used at the dinner table. Today, they’re little pieces of pop-culture history—and they’re still fun to collect.

Thank you to everyone who visited, shopped with us, shared our posts, and supported our small business during our time in Kinston. We truly appreciate every purchase and every conversation along the way.

While this chapter has come to an end, A Walk Thru History isn’t going anywhere—we’ll continue bringing vintage, antiques, and collectibles to our booth inside Copper Mill Mercantile in Greenville.
