If you have an order placed with us, or are thinking of placing an order, please read this message.
Just like many of you being small 1-or-2-person home-based businesses, we are also a 2-person home based business; me and my mom. I understand you have deadlines to meet and impatient customers to please, but please do not read the COVID announcement on our website, place an order, then send me a nasty insensitive email or message with hate and threats regarding the slow shipment of your order. I will refund your order without hesitation or explanation.
My mother fills and ships all of your snap orders and she fell very ill with COVID a couple of weeks ago. At one point she was taken to the hospital, her oxygen dropped to 74, she couldn’t focus her eyes, she got extremely dehydrated (and is still having dehydration issues), and she didn’t have the strength to get up. While she’s doing a bit better now and trying to start filling some orders, she still has very little energy and strength, goes into horrible coughing fits when she moves around too much, and is having issues with extreme dizziness and feeling like she’ll pass out.
Our shop is located in the back of her house and because my husband had major surgery last week and was hospitalized yesterday for life threatening complications from that surgery, I have been unable to go over and chance any exposure to COVID to help fill orders.
I have absolutely no issue with y’all contacting me to see when I think your order may ship or to ask for a refund if you decide you’re unable, or unwilling, to wait (nothing wrong with either one of those), but do not send me un-empathetic messages filled with hate and hostility because your order is taking too long to ship.
Thank you to those of you that know what it’s like trying to run a business solo and know what it’s like when unforeseen circumstances you cannot control hit you or your family and have remained patient and understanding.
