FIELD OF INVENTION
The present invention is related to a reinforced flexible composite. More specifically, the present invention is related to an improved athletic shoe comprising a reinforced flexible composite below the foot wherein the reinforced flexible composite provides improved comfort and improvements in supination and pronation of the foot during activities and returns energy to the foot of the user enabling the user to increase their stride length and run faster.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
It is an object of this invention to provide a reinforced flexible composite as an integral component of a shoe or as an insert for use in a shoe. A particular feature of the reinforced flexible composite is improved comfort and improved performance.
A particular advantage of the present invention is the ability to improve, particularly, running shoes which are more comfortable and wherein the reinforced flexible composite provides energy return properties that may allow an athlete to perform at a higher level whether it be running faster, jumping higher, broad jumping further or recovering faster from a long run or simply creating a more comfortable shoe.
