When You Know, You Know.

So, in prayer this morning, I was reminded why spending time with God is so important. I am convicted—and convinced—that NOTHING compares to Him. NOTHING. And because I know that, I can’t be fooled, tricked, bamboozled, or persuaded into believing that something—or somebody—has something greater to offer. A social media post can’t make me think I’m missing out. Word of mouth can’t convince me that the grass is greener somewhere else....

So, in prayer this morning, I was reminded why spending time with God is so important. I am convicted—and convinced—that NOTHING compares to Him. NOTHING. And because I know that, I can’t be fooled…

Four reasons why you should be cautious of Lukewarm Believers.

Jesus’ strongest rebuke in The Book of Revelation was not directed towards unbelievers but towards a church - a people that had become lukewarm.

To be lukewarm is to be spiritually complacent. It is a life that wants the full benefits of God without the burden of wholehearted devotion.

Have you ever been on fire only to come in contact with someone who was not? Or maybe you were the one that was not on fire.

In Revelation 3, the church of Laodicea boasted of their wealth and how self-sufficient they were. The only problem was their apathy made Jesus nausea. He said he wish they were either hot or cold. But since they were neither hot or cold he would spit them out. This rebuke is rather telling… for a people who think they’re self-sufficient and wealthy,
Jesus uses the most basic element (water) and their own water system to show them their spiritual status.💧 We all have been there a time or two. 🥺

The good news is, whom God loves, He disciplines.
