Sister sizes have a similar cup volume but use different band and cup combinations. When you go up a band, you go down a cup. When you go down a band, you go up a cup.
We do not normally recommend sister sizing in place of your correct fit, but it can be helpful after a weight change, when shopping for swimwear, or when your size is unavailable in a limited-edition style.
Just remember that the cup volume may be similar, but the overall fit will still feel different.
