We love being a part of this wonderful community, and we’ve loaded our shelves with plenty of your favorite "useful and beautiful" staples. A Beautiful Legacy: From Wedding Gown to Bridal Robe 🤍✨

There is something incredibly magical about giving new life to a piece of family history. Recently, Mom (Dee) took on a very special order that truly speaks to the heart of what she can do. She took a stunning, traditional wedding gown and transformed it into a stylish, custom bridal robe for the bride to wear while prepping for her big moment.

Looking at the details, you can see how Dee beautifully carried the soul of the original dress into the new design. She preserved the gorgeous, intricate lace trim from the gown's cathedral train and perfectly repurposed it to edge the hemline and wide, flowing sleeves of the satin robe, making it an extremely unique gift that bridges two generations.

Creating amazing transformations like this is exactly what makes my mom so special. Her engineering brain combined with her creative heart allows her to look at something, see both its beauty and its utility, and figure out exactly how to make it happen.

The wedding gift was a huge success, and we are so honored we got to play a small part in such a beautiful family milestone.

Big changes are coming for our little family business! After a wonderful journey and a beautiful partnership that started right here, we are officially having a "last call" at our Copper Mill Mercantile location in Kinston. Next week, we will be packing up and moving all of our remaining inventory to our central booth at the Copper Mill in Greenville.

We want to send a heartfelt thank you to the amazing Kinston community—you have been so great to us, and we have truly loved being part of your neighborhood! A Proud Milestone for Our Family Business! 📖✨

I am stepping out from behind the scenes to share an incredibly proud personal milestone: autographed paperback copies of my book, Leap of Faith, are officially available at our Shoppes at Copper Mill location in Greenville!

We love filling our booth with "useful and beautiful" staples for your home, and it feels incredibly special to add a novel to the shelves alongside our family's handmade woodwork and cozy sewn creations.

Originally published in 2019, Leap of Faith tells the story of a girl named Aria who leaves the bright lights of Sin City to come home to the eastern coast of South Carolina. It’s a journey about facing your past, finding your grounding, and navigating life with the help of some new and old friends.
