I was at war twenty-three years ago TODAY
..twenty-three years ago, and it feels like yesterday.

Through the fog of war, I wrote "Taking Baghdad," a true story
which took me sixteen years to get right.

The Invasion of Iraq in 2003 has passed into history, but not for those that have been there. For us, Iraq is every day especially when March comes around...

Had to take a hacksaw to it and see for myself! Maybe China will also stop exporting these fake eagles! Still a little confused about composition… weight was on the money, but the reeds per inch was a blatant giveaway. And in typical Chinese fashion, cheap looking! Also found it odd how it’s too thick but also too small in diameter. Seems they could have also had the dimensions almost perfect had they just switched those 2 dimensions. Lastly, a neo magnet will stick hardest in one spot of the coin dead center of the sun. Rest of the coin reacts like silver. May slice that spot to see if there’s a steel insert right there in order to get weight right. Hope this will help someone avoid getting scammed. Happy New Year!
