Nothing says love like a Yankees quilt made by a Red Sox fan. Tara made this quilt to comfort her brother following a surgery and hospital stay. Geometric diamonds by My Creative Stitches by Christy Dillon and a cozy flannel backing complete the quilt. This was Tara’s first quilt and she did a great job keeping it square. Nothing says love like a Yankees quilt made by a Red Sox fan. Tara made this quilt for ger brother following a surgery and hospital stay. She decided on geometric diamonds by My Creative Stitches by Christy Dillon to represent the bases and a flannel backing makes it super cozy.

I always said I wouldn't make a quilt with circles. Clamshells were also not at the top of my list, but I loved the idea of having some critters hidden in the forest. So here it is. Glad I opted for a much smaller quilt. Modified the Glam Clam Quilt by Latifah Saafir Studios LLC and used The Clammy6" ruler to cut out the woodland-themed clamshells. Put them all together to make this fun little quilt.

It was my first time doing applique on a quilt - and I got to test my custom quilting skills. Learning every day.
