My custom fabric was delivered today! I can make 12 potholders from it! I have a really awesome Texaco station in Colorado I’d like to do next, with a CO map, but had to start with OK first!

just placed an order for custom fabric to make some awesome potholders! the thought process behind this was when I looked at my own stash, they are ROUGH. time for some new ones, so why not make them!? i collect vintage Texaco maps, my father-in-law likes to find them for me as well (thanks Randy!), so what better way to include my passion with my creations!? this particular map is from 1962. you can see Route 66 on it. I-44 (Will Rogers Turnpike) opened to traffic in June 1957, so a few years before this map.

a little sneak peak of what I've been working on. I made the original poodle skirt apron YEARS ago (that I'm still obsessed with). and I am working on a mechanic shirt apron version, one night I couldn't sleep, and it occurred to me Zach had several old work shirts I could repurpose! so I have quite a bit of fabric to work with now😁

You guys!!!!!! 🙀😁 I was bummed out about the craft show at the Rec being cancelled, but then my friend who owns Fraser Distilling emailed me about the one they are having!!! This one sounds right up my alley! Cocktails and holiday shopping, yes please! They won’t have food, just drinks, but that means their whole dining room and the barrel room can have vendors! Yay!!!

Yikes, just realized I haven’t posted in a year😬 so here’s the deal, I’m super bummed because I was starting to plan for the annual holiday craft show that was canceled last year and today I found out (after I fully paid for it, literally today) that they are most likely canceling it this year too😩 so anyways, if you need a new face warmer, I’m still making those, most are sold at Grand Adventures or holler at me! And I had something new planned….see the pic in comments! If anyone wants a pie bunting, I was thinking for 3 pies it’ll be $15 and 5 pies for $20. 🥧

New website pics are up today! SO stinkin excited! Thanks to all my friends who helped with the photoshoot! Means the world to me!

First, thanks to Emi for helping with my hair situation! HA! Only 7 months since the last time I had it cut or colored, so thank you for driving up from Greeley and making it look amazing as always! Nothing like a pandemic to push back getting your hair done, it was beyond time!!!

Next, thanks to my two best hunting buddies for modeling with me! Riley, who has hunted with me since I first started in 2013 and was there to help when I shot my first deer (j/k, he did everything besides shoot the buck, lol!). And Tiffany, who has helped me many years of hunting as well! She was there when I got my 2nd buck! My goal was to make this shoot look legit and authentic as possible, and having these two with me made that happen!

Thanks A TON to my friend, Jennifer Bauckman with Redeemed Photography, for being the best photographer! Definitely pushed her on this one! But she was awesome and researched some hunting pics to make sure we looked as natural as possible. We had a crazy rain storm at the original scheduled time, so we risked it and had everyone come over anyways and what do you know, the weather turned out to be awesome after the rain! Whew! The pics look amazing, thank you thank you thank you!!!
