I'm posting this with an extremely broken 💔 heart, My fiance Adam passed away on Thursday July 2nd.
I know everyone wants to know what happened. It happened out of nowhere and fast!
He had heat exhaustion on Saturday, he collapsed as i was trying to get him to the truck to go to the hospital. He collapsed inside at the door. I was told the heat exhaustion triggered him to have pulmonary edema, I started cpr but his lungs were full bc of the liquid from the pulmonary edema. (I learned days later he wasn't getting enough oxygen bc of the stuff in his lungs. It was a lot of clear liquid. Like he was drowning. I had to turn his head after every breath I gave him, so much was coming out every time. I did cpr for 25-30 mins. It took the fire department and ambulance that long to get to us. And we are 2 blocks from memorial hospital. They did cpr for about 45 mins, then went to the hospital where it took another 45 mins to hour for them to get a heartbeat.) the pulmonary edema triggered a heart attack. They found 3 blockages. They fixed his heart. It was strong until the end. The lack of oxygen during the first part of CPR caused a massive brain injury. He needed the liquid to be suctioned out, it was blocking him from getting enough oxygen. They did heart surgery right away to put 3 stents. (We had no idea of the blockages.) He was put into a coma immediately after the heart surgery. A few days ago he showed signs of brain activity several times after be off sedation. Then things changed fast. He had severe swelling in the brain that caused his brain to push down into his spine. This led to him being brain dead.
He is irreplaceable! He is the love of my life. He said Im the love of his life. 6 years and 3 months was not long enough!!! I am grateful I had it. He was the best thing to ever happen to me! His loved changed me and gave me things I never had or felt before! He became my person. My first person. A great person! He was my home!! I never had that! Now it's gone!

I am extremely struggling mentally, emotionally and financially! This is a horrible nightmare I can not wake up from! No one should ever have to loose a loved one!
