We are just under a month until the first allowed practice/tryout date for fall sports! Before you can participate on August 12, you need to be registered for the sport you want to play on Arbiter and have a current physical on file with the athletic trainer. Physicals are good for one calendar year.

Both the Arbiter registration and physical are required in order for coaches to allow you to participate.

Our favorite part of the Herald-Mail’s story on the 1976 time capsule that was opened at City Park on Tuesday morning! As it turns out, South High contributed plenty of material to that capsule 50 years ago and it was preserved almost perfectly!

If we were to contribute to the time capsule the city is planning to bury downtown for 2076, what should we include?

We’re excited to announce we have received word from Parks & Recreation that our tennis court resurfacing project is now complete and the courts are ready to reopen!

The court itself has changed colors. It was originally dark green with blue courts. Now the courts are completely green!

The tennis courts on campus are open to the public for casual play outside of school hours and when not in use by the school teams.

Please help us keep the courts courts clean and in good shape! Only tennis should be played on the court. No bikes, skateboards, etc should be on the court at any time. Please dispose of all trash in one of the cans located on the outside of the perimeter fence.
