Thank you to everyone that came out to our May community workday . Our team alongside community volunteers worked in the Hawaiian garden portion of the farm. We cleaned up around the garden by pulling weeds, laying cardboard over the cleared areas and added mulch. Thank you to for inviting us to their annual Aina Night . Students were able to decorate their own pots before picking out a native plant to take home. Aina Night has been a special event over the years for our North Shore community. This is where families can come learn about the Aina in Schools program by visiting the garden that their kids learn on hand where food comes from as well as learning about how to compost, planting and make commitments to be plastic free.

Stoked to be a part of the Kokua Family Fund Day last Friday. Participants got a chance to stencil paint some gift bags made from our remnant fabric. We want to thank everyone that came out to spend their Saturday morning with us to clean up the Army Beach area of Mōkuleiʻa. We had 68 people who participated in our clean up. We want to thank Michael and his crew at , our Patagonia Japan staff, and and members of the for coming out. Together we collected over 2550 lbs. of trash, 50 lbs of nails from pallet bonfires. This area continues to suffers from irresponsible beach goers leaving trash and burning ballets without cleaning up after themselves.

We would like to thank everyone that came out to our talk story event with Ramon Navarro last week. Ramon shared personal stories, successful preservation strategies from his hometown of Punta Los Lobos in Chile and powerful before-and-after photos highlighting the impact of community-driven conservation. He encouraged the younger generation to step up as future stewards of our oceans. We also wanted to thank our friends from for joining us, a local women-led nonprofit dedicated to preserving the Hawaiian coastline.

We want to thank everyone that came out to our first workday of the year at the Kokua Learning Farm. We cleaned up their lei garden portion of the farm by pulling weeds, taking heart shaped vines off of the plants, laying cardboard and adding mulch. We also want to thank our Chilean surf ambassador Ramon Navarro for coming out to volunteer.

We will be closing early today at 5pm. We will be Closed Christmas Day. Reopening 12/26 with normal business hours 10-6pm
