the hatafari family added two new members today. When I took my crochet out on the bus today a nice tutu asked me if crocheting was difficult. my standard answer to this question is that if I can figure it out...anyone should be able to do it.
after talking briefly, her daughter decided to buy a hat. one of the nice rg&g ones I did last week. nothing fancy, just a basic half/double stitch. but sometimes those are the best ones if the stripes are in proportion and the hat fits the person nicely.
apparently, a lady was wire tapping the conversation and had seen one she liked too.
two sales on the same bus ride is a first. stoked.

we've sold hats on the 52 bus from town to country, but never this quick. he asked how much for the hat before I even tied up the loose ends.
this was the first brown with rg&g hat we ever made. (guess we should make a few more). we have him kama'aina rate and threw in a cobra stitch paracord bracelet for the keiki.
We love it when people are happy.

You're not going to see a lot of people around rocking the star stitch. It's super old school afgranny style. I have a feeling the star stitch is going to make it into the bikinis I'm doing soon. What do you think?
