Anyone looking for a new sewing and embroidery machine. Bernina 590 Crystal Edition like brand new less then 1 hour sewing and embroidery. My cousin’s husband is trying to sell to pay off machine. My cousin passed away and really didn’t get to use it comes with all threads(36), stabilizer, crystal and BSR. Great deal for $4500. More picture available on request suitcases included.

You know we are always getting involved in helping others, head over to Quilting for Cradle to see our latest adventure. We have a great person who has donated fabric to our church group. We want to send every child that attends Cradle Beach home with a quilt or fleece blanket. How many is that? 800 children with special needs and the underserved. Ask and they will help. Many quilters in the area have stepped up to help. We have kits available. All we are asking for are sewer to make the tops and piece the binding. If you want to complete the quilt that is great too. We have backing and FedEx has delivered many rolls of batting. Checkout all the things we are making with our donations over at Quilting for Cradle!

November is a month to be thankful for so many things. Our family, friends and the opportunity to use our talents to make a difference in other people's lives. Our friend Lisa Laffrado approached the Women of Wayside about making quilts for the children attending Cradle Beach in the summer of 2022. Chasen Dreams Quilting is always on board with lending a hand. Lisa told us 100 quilts and we said no problem. It is actually 100 quilts for each session which translated to 500 quilts. Were we intimidated by this - NO. We will appeal to our quilting community for help. We have some basic patterns to make 40 x 60 quilts. If you want to donate a top, the size is approximate and we ask that you send the binding with it. We have a sew day this Saturday, 11/6 at 10:00 a.m. til 4:00 pm at Wayside Presbyterian Church- Lakeshore Rd and Amsdell Rd. Hambirg. We have donated fabric to make up kits. If you can make it, please let me know so we order enough pizza.

It's Quilt Show Week!!!! Quilts are judged and ready to be hung. I can't wait to see this amazing show. Whether you are near or far, this is a must see. Admission is $5.00 Non-perishable items are also being collected for Feed Hamburg. There is a boutique, vendors, basket raffles, mystery bags and our quilt raffle. We hope to see you there.
