Friday night, August 12th will consist of our patriotic celebration with a tribute to first responders and military. We are so excited and thankful to have the Tiger Trac Formation Flight Team who will be providing a beautiful air show. 🇺🇸✈️

Tiger Trac started in 2019 by Jim “Batman” Helms and Paul “Cutter” Cutrer with only two Van’s RV 8 aircrafts. Their moto was “Salute to First Responders.” This caught the attention of other Van’s aircraft owners in the area who supported the purpose and has helped the Team grow from 2 to 4 and sometime 6 aircrafts.

Helms flies the RV 8 “Dynamic Duo” with the Tiger Trac team and serves as Lead/Wingman. Helms was the aerial coordinator, stunt pilot and actor 8 years for the CBS Television series, “Walker, Texas Ranger” with Chuck Norris.

Cutrer flies “Butterbean” all over the US. He flies Lead/Wingman for the Tiger Trac team. He is a former Air Force Pilot in which he flew the F-100 Super Sabre. After the military, he flew for Southwest Airlines and retired as captain.

JP “Nuke” White currently flies as Wingman for the Tiger Trac team. He partnered in the build of an RV-8 called “El Caballito.” He fulfilled his dream of becoming a pilot at the age of 53.

Troy “Mustang” Ellis flies as a Wingman for the Tiger Trac team. Ellis flies the RV-8 “Holy Tara” which dreams to one day bloom into the P-51 Mustang.

Not pictured is Josh “Tater” Boudreaux. Boudreaux brings credibility to the team with 4 years experience as the #2 Wingman for the United States Air Force Thunderbirds. He acts as instructor and Check Pilot. He is active duty and currently flies the Mighty F-15 Eagle. He will not be a part of August 12th’s flight.
