A warm bowl of Sunday Sauce on a cool day at the head of Keuka Lake… it doesn’t get much better than that.

As we celebrate our first year at the Depot, I’ve been reflecting on just how many people it took to make this possible.

First, thank you to the Town of Urbana for giving us the opportunity to call this beautiful historic Depot home. We truly appreciate your support and the chance to be part of such a special place.

To my family—thank you. You’ve sacrificed more than anyone to help make this dream a reality.

To our incredible staff, both past and present, thank you for believing in what we were building. Whether you worked one shift or have been with us every step of the way, you’ve greeted guests with a smile, rolled up your sleeves on the busiest days, shared laughs, and helped create the welcoming atmosphere that people have come to love. This past year wouldn’t have been possible without you.

And to everyone who believed in me, even just a little, supported us, shared a post, stopped in for a coffee, a lemonade, lunch, or simply a conversation—thank you. Every bit of encouragement has helped get us here.

This summer has been incredible. We’ve met amazing people, shared free hugs, poured fresh muddled lemonades, and had the privilege of feeding a community that I love. Every day reminds us why we wanted to be here.

Tomorrow, Depot Park comes alive as the 43rd Annual Wine Country Classic Boat Show arrives in Hammondsport! Beautiful classic wooden boats, a full waterfront, and one of our favorite weekends of the year.

It’s also a special day for us…

What an incredible year it’s been. We’ve met neighbors who have become friends, welcomed visitors from around the world, and have been honored to be a small part of so many memories made at the head of Keuka Lake.

We’re not particularly happy about the particulates in the air either.

An Air Quality Alert is in effect until midnight, so we’re doing our part to keep the indoor air as comfortable as possible.
