Some platforms are pay to play, while others are not. It’s crazy how I can organically get this many views, reactions and comments on another platform within 4 hours of posting. While this one I’m getting very little growth to share my craft.

I’ve been rockin through some more hats!

Why hats?

I have a bunch of single skeins of yarn. Mostly sock yarn. I’m not all that interested in making socks, especially with how quickly my kids put holes in them. So hats are another great project that knits up quickly. Once I clear up space then I’ll be able to buy larger quantities for bigger projects.

Currently I’m making dishcloths and dish towels for the kitchen since we don’t use paper towels.

When my son was a toddler he wanted me to knit him a hat. At the time we lived in Germany, so we went to our local Globus and I let him pick out the yarn he wanted. The original hat has since gone missing. I found a ball of the original yarn in my stash of yarn and decided the best thing to make was a replacement hat now that he’s 15.
