Friday October 28th La Soul Renaissance & 3rd Society Entertainment are screening and celebrating the award winning "Deep Redd" by Lionel Monsanto at the historic Verdean Veterans Memorial Hall- CV Vets Hall in New Bedford.
Deep Redd is an independent Hip Hop Short Horror film about a savvy quick witted narcissist man by the name of Jason Myers, who is confronted by his ex-girlfriend about their past relationship and heart wrenching break up, but she finds out Jason's reality is more like a nightmare!"
The film features Rudy Cabrera and Charee Baez. It was partially filmed in New Bedford and has won 19 film festival awards to date. Following the film there will be a Q&A with film cast and live performances by Shiesty L, Lord Gremithy, Mega Millz, Emilio Tirado, and Jabubu.
The event is FREE and 21+
