The last week has been one of the hardest we’ve had. Since my last post about staying home with Starla, things declined very quickly and we had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to our girl at the emergency vet on Saturday.

Today I picked my sweet girl up and somehow my heart feels even heavier. 💔 Saying goodbye to a pet who is truly family is a kind of pain that’s hard to explain. She would have been 12 in September, and she leaves behind such a huge hole in our hearts.

Thank you all for the love, prayers, messages, and understanding while I stepped away to be with her. It meant more than you know. ❤️

We will be adjusting our hours this week as we have the honor of being part of our best friends’ wedding this weekend — a little happiness after such a hard week.

I have to constantly remind myself that the reason I built this business was for moments like this — to provide for my family, but also to have the freedom to be where I’m needed most. ❤️

My sweet girl has been doing unbelievably well considering the diagnosis we were given. But around midnight last night, things changed a bit. She woke me up needing her mama, and I’ve stayed by her side ever since.

Please say a prayer for my girl and that she snaps back out of this again.

I won’t be leaving her side today, so the boutique will be closed (Thursday). ‼️
