🖤 Meet Vlad. 🖤

This handsome mini panther has already been through more than any cat should.

When Vlad arrived at WCAS, it was clear he had been living with a broken rear leg for quite some time. The injury was old and had healed improperly.

After consulting with a veterinarian, the best option was to amputate the damaged limb. While losing a leg is never ideal, it has given Vlad something he hasn't had in a long time...relief and the chance to start over.

If you'd like to help with Vlad's care, donations of any amount are greatly appreciated. Every dollar goes directly toward helping animals like Vlad receive the second chance they deserve.

Thank you for believing that every life is worth fighting for. We can't wait to watch Vlad heal, thrive, and eventually find the loving home he's always deserved. 🐾❤️

I often get asked:
“Are your cats for sale?”
or
“How much do you sell your kittens for?”

Those aren’t terms I use and I dislike those terms, because I do not sell animals, and I never will.
Selling animals is what breeders do. I am a rescue, not a breeder, and I don’t promote breeding. That doesn’t mean I dislike every breeder, but my passion is rescue and encouraging people to spay and neuter their pets.
Every day, healthy cats and dogs are euthanized simply because there aren’t enough homes for them. That’s why I dedicate my time to helping animals that already exist and desperately need a second chance.
I adopt out rescued cats and kittens—and occasionally dogs—to loving homes.
Yes, there is an adoption fee, typically ranging from $25 to $95, depending on the veterinary care the animal has received. That fee isn’t a purchase price. It helps cover vaccinations, spay/neuter surgeries, medical treatment, and other expenses, and every dollar goes right back into rescuing and caring for the next animal in need.

When you adopt from a rescue, you’re not buying a pet. You’re giving an animal a second chance and helping save the next one, too. ❤️

These sweet babies waited patiently all day, hoping someone would choose them and take them home… but sadly, we had no adoptions today. 💔
