Our sweet Tonya went to be with the lord last night. Tonya has owned Downtown Southern Sass since 2021 and has been with the store since the very beginning. As you know, yesterday was our last day being open and it is nothing but God that she waited until the doors were closed for good!! She loved DSS with her whole heart as well as every customer that came in. To know Tonya is to love her, she was the best friend anyone could ask for and never met a stranger. We’re going to miss her dearly but her battle with “the C word”, as she would say, is finally over!! Thank you Tonya for everything, we love you!!!

Please lift her family up in prayer. This is an incredible loss for anyone that has ever met our girl!

Hey ya’ll! We have some news… It is with a heavy heart that we have decided Downtown Southern Sass will be closing November 1st, 2024.

We have been debating this decision for a while now so trust us when we say, this decision was not made lightly. In this economy and with the rise of fast fashion websites, tik tok shop, and multiple other reasons, we just cannot keep up. We strive to provide the best prices and experience for our customers and once that wasn’t obtainable anymore, we decided to call it. We cannot thank our sweet customers enough for your support over the years. It’s gonna be tough not to see y’all’s faces anymore! To our customers, whether you came once a month or once a year, THANK YOU!! Your continued support has meant the world to us! Come see us from now until November 1st to shop one last time!
