How We Got Started

The Just@Home Curio Shoppe is a new division of The Big Apple Costume Company. Loving the challenges of the Costume Industry, Big Apple Costumes has worked with Theater Companies, Event Planners, Project Managers, Wardrobe Directors and just plain folks for more than a 2 decades. In the past, our focus was on only new and custom made items. Over the years, Prop Departments of

Theater Companies, Golf Resorts and Estate Sale Managers asked of they could contribute or trade overstock inventory, and/or lightly used and vintage items to our Just@Home Catalog. We thought that might be a great idea, our creative imagine soaring with thousands of ideas of how these items would not only be useful, but great fun to work with, wear and own... And so..... A new site is born!
