— Day 1 —
When You Feel Like You’ve Failed
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
— Psalm 34:18
There are days when the weight of it all feels unbearable. Days when you look at your children and all you can see are the moments you wish you could take back, but you can’t!
The times you weren't present.
The choices you regret.
The version of yourself you don't recognize anymore!
And the word that echoes the loudest is FAILURE!
Not just something you did—in the past or even in the present-but something you start to believe you are.
But what if that's not the truth?
What if failure isn't your identity-not who you are at all-but simply a chapter you walked through?
What if the very places you feel the most broken are the places God is beginning to restore within you and rebuild you?
Because He was there then, even when you walked away from him and He is definitely here now!
Not to shame you, not to condemn you, but to rebuild you from the crown of your head to the bottoms of your feet...
God does not see you through the lens of your worst moments. He sees you through grace. Through His Grace!
He sees you human, growing, more than enough and still worthy. And what He sees is not who you were—but who you are becoming fully for His Will and Purpose.
Anchor Thought:
I am not defined by where I've been. But being fully restored from the crown of my head to the bottoms of my feet for where I am going in his glory…

Prayer:
God,
I feel the weight of my past, the guilt, the shame, time I can not get back and the mistakes I can't undo.
Sometimes it feels like I've failed in the places that matter most and will never be able to make it right.
Help me release shame and receive Your grace. Teach me how to show up—not perfectly, but faithfully, honestly, and in all of your glory! Amen
