Happy Easter and A Hui Hou! We wish you a peaceful and blessed Easter.
Saturday March 30th marked our last day as a retail business. Throughout the years, from Merchant St. to Ward to Kaimuki, to Waimanalo and to Kalihi, we have loved what we do and loved our customers even more: you are the reason we do this. We will still be on-line, at Na Mea Ward Village, and available by phone at 808 259-7677. Please do stay in touch, whether you’ve been with us for 30 years or 30 days. Watch for changes in our website and we realign our business. Long time friend Gerdien Baas will continue with East Honolulu Clothing Company, as she is family. But she will be moving on to other things as well, namely sewing and shop kokua for Nake’u Awai Designs, right next door. Mahalo, A Hui Hou, and to be continued….

Just 5 more days till we close our retail shop!!! Hard to believe it has been 32 years since we started at craft fairs. In 1995 we joined together with a hui of other local businesses to form Native Books & Beautiful Things. In 2001 we opened our shop in Kaimuki, 2007 in Waimanalo, and 2022 in Kalihi. It has been a wonderful journey and we are so grateful to our customers for their friendship and patronage.

We are also liquidating our remaining supply of unprinted solid wickaway knit fabrics. Please share with your creative friends and groups.

Lot of 900+ yards of fabric, 60 inch wide. Most on bolts of 50 to 70 continuous yardage. Fashion production clear out. High quality wicking synthetics such as dry fit, cool max, etc. Not all fabrics shown in pictures at this time. Sold as lot only. Serious offers considered. Pick up in Kalihi, you will need a truck or van.
