Hey Coasties! 🌊🕯️

We’ve been keeping a little secret…

For the past 8 weeks, we’ve been working behind the scenes designing, planning, dreaming, measuring, reworking layouts, and imagining what the next chapter of Coastal Virginia Candle Co. could look like.

And I can officially say that as of May 19, 2026, we secured the lease to a larger space right here in Gloucester! 🥹

Our current shop has been such a special part of our journey. We love it, and we are truly going to miss our neighbors at Four P's In A Pod and Bridgewater’s Salon & Spa an Aveda Concept Salon. But the truth is… we’ve outgrown it.

This new space is just over 2,100 square feet, and it is going to give us the room to grow into everything we’ve been dreaming about.

The new store will feature interactive fragrance-making stations where you’ll be able to come in anytime, no reservation needed, and create your own candles, carpet freshener, room sprays, reed diffusers, and more home fragrance items coming in the future.

We’ll also have a dedicated space for our Pour + Sip classes, along with a larger sales floor so you can shop all your favorite Coastal Virginia Candle Co. products in a space that feels welcoming, coastal, creative, and completely us.

This move is such a huge step for our little company, and we are so thankful for every single person who has supported us, shopped with us, shared our posts, taken a class, told a friend, or cheered us on along the way. This interactive store has been a dream of ours since 2018, and it's right around the corner.

So what does this look like? Over the next week or so, you will see the Hickory Fork Rd. location wind down. Online sales will be suspended, but only temporarily, as we have to pack up the current space, and move everything over. We will turn online orders back on as soon as we can, even if it's before we open back up.

During this process, we're also transitioning to a new Point of Sale software and new online ordering platform, what does that look like for you, well nothing really. All of your loyalty points will be transferred over to the new system. For online ordering you will be given the option to soon split your total into monthly installments.

We cannot wait to welcome you into the new space soon.

We’re in the process of transitioning to new label designs, so you may start seeing a fresh new look on some of your favorite Coastal Virginia Candle Co. products.

Don’t worry — it’s still the same great product you know and love, just with a new look! As we make the switch, you may notice a mix of our current labels and new labels in-store and online.

Monday–Thursday: 10 AM–5 PM
Friday: Closed for retail customers | Wholesale appointments only
Saturday & Sunday: Closed
