I also want to send a huge thanks to all of my friends and family for helping me over the past few weeks with anything and everything that you've done, from walking Ranger, to putting a sign up, to pricing something, building something, or even just sitting in a a chair and listening to me vent about something while I work. I love each of you!

After months of moving, unpacking, building, changing things, changing them again 😂, and getting our new space ready for you… Coastal Virginia Candle Company will officially be OPEN starting this Wednesday!

And not only are we opening the doors to our new store, the Maker Studio is opening too! 🙌

The Maker Studio is where YOUR creations come to life! ✨

Instead of simply shopping for something we made, you get to step behind the scenes, choose what YOU want to make, select your fragrance, and create something that's completely your own.

And the best part? No reservation is needed! Just come on in during Maker Studio hours and get creative.

You can make your own:

Speaking of the little ones…

👧🏽👦🏼 CAN KIDS MAKE CANDLES?

YES!

Participants must be at least 5 years old to make a candle.

Children under the age of 12 must have direct supervision and assistance from a parent or guardian who is at least 18 years old while participating.

We want the Maker Studio to be a place where families can come together, have fun, get creative, and make some pretty awesome memories — while also keeping everyone safe.

✍️ ONE MORE IMPORTANT THING: WAIVERS!

Every person entering the Maker Studio space must have a waiver on file.

The good news? You don't have to fill one out every time you visit! 🙌

Your waiver stays on file with us for ONE YEAR.

And we made it easier for families, too!

One parent or guardian can complete one waiver and add all of their children to it. If another parent or guardian wants to participate, they can simply complete their own waiver.

Even better, you'll be able to fill out your waiver BEFORE you come!

We’ll pin the waiver link right here on our page and add it to our website as soon as everything is finished.

And yes… the website is still a work in progress. 😂 One thing at a time, y’all!

Y’all-our sign is up! While I took the day off yesterday to catch up on cleaning at my house the AMAZING folks at Hudgins Sign Co. were busy getting us set up. They cleaned everything and got our sign put up exactly how I laid it out.

They were great to work with, friendly, price was great and just all around great people! Highly recommend them!

📣 OKAY… THIS IS GOING TO BE A LONG ONE, BUT A GOOD ONE! 🕯️🌊

First things first — WE MOVED!

Since June, we’ve been working behind the scenes on our new home at:

And YES… our sign will FINALLY be up by Saturday! 🙌

That sign has been a whole other struggle 😂, but thanks to a local company out of Mathews, Hudgins Sign Co., it will finally be going up this week! Zach has been absolutely PHENOMENAL throughout the process, and I cannot recommend him enough for your signage needs.

Now… onto what you’ve REALLY been waiting for.

We are officially launching our Maker Studio, and this is something we have been so excited to bring to Coastal Virginia!

No reservation needed.

Walk in, pick what you want to make, choose your fragrance, and create your own product right here in the store.

The old jars are officially gone.

Those jars have been with us since we started this crazy journey back in 2018, so saying goodbye to them is definitely bittersweet. But after eight years, we decided it was time for an upgrade.
