At our monthly Monday guild meetings the Piecemakers has a door prize drawing, often has fabric exchanges, as well as mini-classes. This month we learned how to make cards with fun fabric embellishments.

Oops - somehow I missed these two fantastic shares. Look at the great back to the brown, pink, and green quilt.

Last post on our two-day Guild Quilt Retreat. Lots of fun prizes given away, everything from fabric to pop-can cozies. One of the big prizes was this little Mighty Steam Iron! Meg Olson won that wonderful prize. And Connie Piper - well, Connie won the “Seam Ripper” prize. One quarter for every time an attendee used their seam riper. $43.00 later, Connie’s name was drawn from the pumpkin!! Way to go Connie! (Was it worth all the ripping?) For those doing the math - attendees used their seam ripper 172 times in the two days.

Couple more projects from the Guilds retreat. A number of very attractive bags and some fun quilts.

What a great retreat hosted by Micky and Marty. We had lovely meals and of course enough sweets to open a candy store! Couple pics. of busy sewers as well as a peek at a few projects.

Some more pictures from the Dresden Neighborhood Class back in September. The sky is the limit on what you can do with this mini-quilt.

A couple weeks ago a class was offered on making a Whimsical Dresden Neighborhood. Many of us continued to work on our neighborhoods at the recent quilt retreat. Most are still a work in progress. (By no means are these pictures all inclusive - so if you were at the Dresden Neighborhood class, please feel free to add your picture!)
