At Hemet Optometric Center, Dr. Simpson and his staff are working daily to rebuild the practice and let all their clients know that they are missed. They are doing their best to answer and return calls, fulfill your vision needs, and gather information as quickly as possible. Dr. Simpson and his staff would like to thank the community and clients for all their support. It will take time to rebuild and reopen the office. When it reopens, there will be an announcement! We would like to give an office update after the fire that occurred a few weeks ago. As more information is gathered and assessed, we would like to inform our community that rebuilding will begin soon. We plan to reopen and operate at full capacity when all reparations are completed. We ask for your patience at this time because we do not yet have a timeline that determines our reopening date. Our staff is working diligently to reach out to those who had scheduled appointments or active orders. If you call our office, please listen to the message all the way through and then leave your message. There has been some confusion, however, we are receiving and returning messages as quickly as possible. Our number is (951)652-2020. Thank you to all our family, friends, and patients who have expressed concern after learning about the fire at our office, Hemet Optometric Center. Your support is appreciated. We are navigating unchartered territory at this time and we are grateful for your patience. We are doing our best to contact every patient with a prescription that is being filled. Thank you to those of you have reached out to check on Dr. Simpson, his family, and staff. Together we are forging through this challenging situation. With the office remaining closed until renovations can be made and occupying the office is safe deemed safe, our staff is working to reach out to patients who were scheduled for upcoming appointments. We are also doing our best to inform those who had placed orders for frames and contacts so that your needs can be met. We are in communication with the insurance companies to gather information so as best to serve our patients. Again, thank you for your support. We are grateful to be in this caring community.

Here is an update on Hemet Optometric Center:
We are still reeling from the shock of the fire that occurred at the office one week ago. We are thankful that no one was harmed and for the quick response from our local firefighters. The week was spent meeting with staff, insurance reps, and inspectors. At this time we would like to inform you that the office will remained closed until it can be safely occupied once again. The time frame required to accomplish this is unknown. In the meanwhile, our staff will make every effort to contact patients who have scheduled appointments or prescriptions that are ready for pick up. We appreciate your patience as we navigate this very challenging situation. We care about all of our patients deeply and you are welcome to leave a message if you have a need to be addressed. To all our dear clients- Due to a fire at the office that occurred last weekend, our office is currently closed. The damage is extensive and will likely take months to renovate. We are very sorry for the inconvenience this may cause for those of you in need of exams, glasses, or contacts. We ask for your grace during this time as we navigate the challenges we are facing. I am sorry to announce that there was an electrical fire in my optometry office this morning, Hemet Optometric Center. Thankfully, nobody was hurt and the building itself did not burn but, the inside has significant water and smoke damage and some fire damage. Unfortunately, we are required to remain closed until the bulding is safe for occupancy, per fire marshall, SCE, and my insurance company. Thank you for your understanding at this time. We are sorry for those of you who needed to pick up glasses and or contact lenses! We will contact you as soon as we can.
