A Bittersweet Announcement

After much reflection, I’ve made the difficult decision to close Mimi’s Boutique at the end of March. Since opening our doors in 2013, this little shop has been so much more than a business—it has been a community, a gathering place, and a source of joy in my life for over a decade.
I am deeply thankful for every single customer who walked through the door. You brought laughter, stories, encouragement, and sometimes even tears. You trusted me to help you feel beautiful, and nothing made me happier than seeing you out in the world—online or in person—wearing something you found at Mimi’s.
Some of my most meaningful life moments happened within these walls. When Lynn passed away, it was you—my friends, my customers, my people—who gathered around me and held me up. And I’ll never forget how Stacey threw an impromptu celebration the day after I got married, filling the boutique with joy and love. These memories are stitched into the fabric of Mimi’s just as surely as any outfit we ever sold.
I’m forever grateful to Stacey for giving me the opportunity to bring this dream to life all those years ago. The idea first sparked in Panama City Beach, and with Lachelle Ellis’s encouragement, I named the boutique after my grandmother—“Mimi”.
Closing this chapter is emotional, but it isn’t the end of my story. This is simply one book in my series coming to a close. And as for the next volume… well, you never know what it might hold.
