Last day of . Wearing this cute new side button tank I made from some vintage fabric I’ve had in my stash for a long time. This fabric makes my inner child very happy because I loved purple and pink as a kid.

Pattern: I did a SBA but am getting some wrinkles along the armscye so probably need to lower the armpit and mess around with the fit if I make another.

My 8th grade grad. I’m so proud of her and all of my children. They’re accomplishing big things, but even more so I’m so happy to see them become their unique and kind selves. I finished this dress just in time for her awards ceremony because I’m me and she needed something to wear. 😆

Being a sewist is having a cart full of items and then realizing I can just make that. 😆 I made myself this set and then remembered I also have a tank that matches. I love activewear shorts and leggings with no front seam and although this fabric probably isn’t great for my super sweaty hot yoga classes, it’s so comfortable and perfect for pretty much everything else.

Patterns: Claudia top modified the front piece so there’s no seam and Clara shorts.

A spontaneous and incredible dinner and show that we can’t take credit for because we happened to fall into someone else’s plans. So thankful for you 🫶🏽. I made this top a couple months ago and almost forgot about it with all the craziness that being a mom in May is. I was inspired by the Alo dreamlight top and .makes. This was day 8 of . If you haven’t noticed yet, I share different ways I wear my makes throughout the month in my stories.

One more Easter dress I need to share. I used the Paloma dress again but modified the construction and fit a bit for my daughter. I raised the ties about an inch and used a lining on the bodice. I kind of combined how the Vintage little lady dress is made with the Paloma, so the top part of bodice is lined and then I bound the armholes. I also dyed the twill tape ribbon by combining some random I had and it turned out this gorgeous color.

Fabric is lyocell twill leftover from Easter dresses I made years ago, I think 2021, from our beloved Joann’s (RIP).

Pattern: Paloma Dress. Shortened length by a lot. Raised placement of ties by half inch or so because this pattern is drafted for a height taller than me.
Fabric: some linen from my stash.

Thank you for all the birthday wishes during this dance comp/convention weekend in AZ. My husband and kids made it lots of fun and I didn’t even feel completely exhausted like most travel dance weekends 😆. Also, spy my son who was so annoyed when I got two holes-in-one. I gifted(made) myself this dress using some leftover linen from my stash.

Using up the last bit of this gingham gauze for this top was so sentimental. I used it to make Easter dresses for my girls back in 2018. Swipe to see a great blast from the past. 🥹
