Went to a private estate sale this afternoon. Got everything out in the garage, ready to be cleaned. Books, a beautiful Italian to***co humidor, jewelry, copper, an enamel planter, a very cool mid-century clown painting. Not pictured is part of a US Treasury department ledger book from the Civil War and two 18th century books that may not be able to be saved, but I'm going to try.

At Patton Park this morning.
For decades, I was an insomniac. My ex and I would come out here in the middle of the night, play racquet ball, walk the train tracks and then eat at the Hardee's next door. Much has changed in the 26 years since then,but this is still one of my favorite spots to relax.

I am not a reseller who expects everything for a dollar. I'm perfectly willing to pay a reasonable amount for items, especially if it's going towards a good cause. But these folks are just plain smoking crack now. Then they wonder why the merchandise just sits there.
