I finished one of those shawls everyone posted about a while ago. Selling them for $75. I know that sounds like a lot, but I’ll break down the cost...depending on the yarn you choose material is probably around $30 and this one took me around 60-70 hours so that’s less than $1/hr. I don’t crochet for the money, I do it because I really enjoy it. I don’t know how much longer I’ll be able to do it because of my RA so I’m going to do it for as long as I can but I also know the value of my time and skill too. With Christmas coming up please keep that in mind if you have people make stuff for you as gifts!
So if you would like to have one of these to keep you or one of your loved ones warm this winter let me know! (It takes me a little while to make these because they are basically a small blanket)
