I'm all about quick and easy when it comes to meal prep and I use frozen veggies a LOT.

This was so yummy and took less than 20 minutes.

Chose my protein first- 93% lean ground beef.
Then decided on sweet potatoes and green beans to go with it. Both of these were frozen....
I like my veggies cooked in the air fryer, so I drizzled with a little olive oil and seasonings (garlic, onion and crushed red pepper)...and cooked those separately while my beef was cooking.
Mixed it together at the end with a little worcestershire sauce and a splash of soy sauce. 😋
So good.....

Your biology is not your destiny. Your daily routine is.

One thing I see all the time working with people in their 50's, 60s, 70s and beyond…
They think weakness is just “part of getting older.”
But most of the time, it’s not age.
It’s loss of muscle.💪
And muscle loss happens when we stop challenging our bodies.
Strength training is one of the most powerful things you can do for:
• balance
• bone density
• joint health
• mobility
• independence

You don’t need to start with 20 squats.
Start with 3.
Then do 5.
Then do 10.
Because the goal isn’t perfection.
The goal is staying strong enough to live your life fully.
Strength brings freedom.

Read this before you talk yourself into quitting.
Sunday Reminder 💛
Contrary to what social media loves to sell you…
✨ Transformations don’t happen in 6 weeks
✨ Or 8 weeks
✨ Or even a few months
Those are great starting points — but real, lasting change?
👉 That comes from consistency over time.
From showing up…
Again and again…
Even when motivation fades.
It’s not about starting strong and then stopping.
It’s about NOT stopping.
It’s about:
✔️ Strength training 3–4 days a week
✔️ Moving your body regularly
✔️ Building habits you can actually sustain
✔️ Being patient with the process
✔️ Trusting that small efforts add up
Because they DO.
Progress isn’t always dramatic.
Sometimes it’s quiet.

🥚 Let’s Talk About the Egg
Eggs are one of the best whole foods you can eat.
Simple. Affordable. Packed with nutrients.
But here’s something many people don’t realize…
An egg isn’t just protein.
A single large egg contains roughly:
✔ 6g protein
✔ 5g fat
✔ ~70–80 calories
That means more calories actually come from fat than protein.
And no — that’s not a bad thing.
The yolk (where the fat lives) also contains
vitamins, minerals, and important nutrients your body needs.
👉 The takeaway?
Eggs are a protein + fat food, not a “free protein.”
If you’re tracking macros or calories,
those fats count — especially once you add butter or oil to the pan 😉
