The V1 Summit was created to bring jiu-jitsu academy owners, coaches, and leaders together in one room to openly share information, experiences, systems, successes, and problems.

This is not an affiliation event.

This is not about whose team or association is better.

The goal is to create an environment where people who understand the challenges of running an academy can learn from each other and build relationships that continue after the weekend is over.

WHAT WE'LL BE DISCUSSING

Topics throughout the Summit will include:

• Building and improving kids programs
• Academy systems and the psychology of excellence
• Law enforcement and community programs
• Additional revenue opportunities inside an academy
• Owner-to-owner networking
• Real academy problems discussed anonymously as a group
• Ideas and systems that owners can take home and implement

We will also have multiple speakers bringing experience from different areas of the martial arts and business communities.

V1 started with a simple idea:

What happens when you put a room full of academy owners together, remove the politics and rivalries, and just talk openly about how we can build better academies?

That is what we’re creating.

The V1 Summit, presented by Trust Clothes, is bringing academy owners and leaders together from Texas and across the country for a weekend focused on the parts of running a jiu-jitsu academy that we don't always get the opportunity to talk about.

Not just technique.

Not just competition.

But leadership, culture, kids programs, instructor development, business systems, retention, community, and the problems we all run into behind the scenes.

We already have owners and coaches bringing different perspectives and experience to the room, with sessions covering topics including:

That means you're not only learning from the speakers.

You're learning from the combined experience of every owner in the room.

We're intentionally keeping V1 focused enough that owners can actually have conversations with each other instead of getting lost in a crowd.

And the interest we've already received has come from well beyond the Texas Panhandle, with academy owners from multiple states expressing interest in making the trip.

This is V1 for a reason.

We're building the first one.

We're going to learn from it.

And we're going to see what this can become.

Belt promotions aren't given—they're earned through countless hours of training, discipline, perseverance, and the willingness to keep showing up.

Kari continues to be a great example of what youth Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is all about. She's not only a dedicated competitor, but she's also already stepped into a leadership role by teaching her first seminar here at Wrecking Crew American Jiu-Jitsu.

We are proud to see all of your hard work paying off and are grateful that Trust Clothes gets to be a small part of your journey. Supporting young athletes who represent the values of hard work, humility, and respect is what it's all about.

As we continue to grow and improve our manufacturing process, every new custom design will now go through a mandatory two-step approval process before entering mass production for gym orders.

First, a digital production mock will be created and reviewed to confirm the design, colors, logos, placement, and specifications. Once approved, a physical sample of the product will be produced. Photos of that sample will then be provided for a final review to verify that the finished product matches the approved design before full production begins.

This additional quality control process may add anywhere from a few days up to one week to the production timeline, depending on our current workload and the complexity of the order.

This policy has been implemented to reduce production errors, prevent unnecessary remakes, and ensure every order meets our quality standards before mass production begins. While it may slightly increase turnaround time, it provides greater confidence that the final product you receive is exactly what was approved.

This past weekend at a tournament, we had the opportunity to meet a lot of great people and hear your honest feedback about our website.

One thing came up again and again: while everyone liked the quality of our gear, many felt our retail prices were creating too much of a barrier.

We listened.

Our goal has always been to make quality jiu-jitsu gear available to as many people as possible, not just a select few. Because of your feedback, we've adjusted our retail pricing to be more in line with what the community is looking for while still delivering the quality Trust Clothes is known for.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to stop by, talk with us, and share your thoughts. Your feedback helps us continue to build a better brand for the BJJ community.
