Good morning!! Today is the Woolwright’s rug Hook-in. I’m bringing kits for these adorable chocolate rabbits by Kay Leisey. Dark, Milk and White chocolate. They are a quick hook and can be ready in time for Easter this year 🐇

Working on a punch needle needle keeper for a class later this spring. I’ve already made this with yarn and an Oxford #14 punch needle but was asked to try it with embroidery floss. The punching is finished but now I need to assemble it. I used three strand and perle 8 cotton thread.

Happy Saturday! It’s very cold here today but we are open. The heat is doing the best it can in a building built in the 1860s!! We’ve got plenty of new stock valdani threads and lots of new wool in the shop. I also received a new shipment of ✂️ scissors and other notions!

Here is a piece that’s been adapted from my book. It’s my six flower rug and it’s just been made bigger! The flower stems were made longer. I love the colors and can’t wait to see it finished! is much further along since just a week ago!

It’s really snowing out today!! But we are open 🤗 Denise made an early trip into the shop and is there if you wish to venture out. We’ve had a bit of ice overnight. So we aren’t sure yet when we are opening today. We are working on the parking lot and will let you know! If you could delay your trip to the shop for now!! We will keep you updated.

📸 - Santa and Mrs Claus, aka “Too Many Cookies” and “The Cookie Culprit” are 3-d hooked rug patterns available at the shop and also online. We have a few kits made up for them as well.
