We are proud to have one of our past students Jordan Raney (2nd photo back row center - 3rd Photo to the right of the gentlemen* in the center) representing the United States as a member of the 2024 Olympic Women's Water Polo Team. A recent graduate of Stanford University. The Team is attempting a Three-peat. We wish her the team to the most incredible positive experience of their life. Olympic Games, Paris, France 2024.
*The gentleman is one of the National Treasures of Japan for his contribution to Japanese culture through Traditional Karate-Do. Nishiyama Sensei was the best Karate Master in the world. It's amazing what you can accomplish when you substitute whining, crying, excuses, justifying nonsense, laziness, anger and jealousy with a goal, a plan, the day in day out hard work without any compensation except knowing you're listening to your heart and doing the right thing.
People have heard and schooled to others that "you can actually be anything you want". But the fact of the matter is people actually don't believe it, otherwise day in day out they would be taking those actions to be "that".
I ask my students to "try hard always'. And often, on occasion I ask them to "try their best". You need to realize there is a distinction and how and when to apply them both.

Once the World goes back to doing things the right way, we will enter the second Renaissance. This day is closer than you think.
Pre Covid most of our students have been with 5 years or more. We lose them when they get shipped off to college. These Brown and Black Belts go on to reach incredible, new human heights of accomplishments.
