And that’s a wrap on the 2026 Golden Age Air Museum “Bands ~ Bi-Planes ~ Vintage Racers” Event. 👍

This event was very special to me as my interest in “vintage racing projects” and tribute swag ~ has been growing since leaving NASCAR in 2016.

The official event shirts sold out too ~ benefiting the museum.🏁

Thank you once again to the awesome museum staff and pilots and to our race team who showed up and ran hard.

More to come as we seemed to have found something new and fun for spectators! 🇺🇸🏁

When auto racing debuted in Hershey back in 1939 (to 1941) at Hershey Stadium Speedway it was also the beginning of auto racing sponsorships in the United States.

Promoter 👉🏻 “Red” Crise took the leading drivers to the Hershey Community Inn 👇🏻 (aka ~ Cocoa Inn) to interact with local business owners and the media ~ while munching on thee best seafood, steaks, drinks and great ci**rs in town.

These events led to the first logos (actually script names) being placed on race cars for promotion.

It’s that simple ~ and a fact ~ the early days of racing sponsorships started in Hershey Pennsylvania.

Yep ~ there’s a shirt to commemorate this cool era 👉🏻 at the Hershey History Center. 🏁🇺🇸👍

👇🏻is the Hershey Auto Racing Club tribute shirt. The ~ under the direction of Mr. George Marshman ~ is credited with bringing exciting new classes ~ such as the “Import Class” and “Late Models” to Hershey Stadium Speedway from 1968-1969. 🇺🇸🏁👍
