It's almost jeans season! Who needs their jeans hemmed? Parents... how many of your kids jeans from last year have holes that need patched? I love adding fun stylish patches to my kids jeans to reinforce the knees! Or... if they are too far gone i just turn them into shorts for next summer! Bring me your tired, your torn, you worn out jeans and let me make them new again! If you don't care to save them, don't throw them out, send them my way and I'll use the materials! I could even make your kids a duffle or overnight bag with their old denim. 😉

These jeans needed over 5 inches taken off of them! I removed the five inches and saved the original hem making the new hem nearly invisible and appear seamless!

Thank you to everyone who bought eggs from Ellianna! She worked hard taking care of her chickens and gathering the eggs daily! She earned enough money for her "Bike with a baby seat", her basket with the light up flowers, her unicorn helmet and a Kansas license plate on the back that says "daddy's girl"! All of her customers are responsible for that smile on her face!

You may be wondering why Ellie hasn't had eggs to offer lately. Well. We are getting about 5 eggs a day now instead of 10. So our regular customers are lucky to get their eggs after we use what we need. Her golden hen is now a setting hen. She is on a pile of what looks to be about a dozen eggs! Wow! We are so excited to have baby chicks soon! And of course once they start laying we will be back in business! Ellianna was able to get her bike as well as her basket and a Kansas license plate on the back that says "daddy's girl" lol. We went to get her unicorn helmet and Walmart no longer had them! :( you can imagine the sob fest that ensued following that! :( we will be shopping for one online! Now that her chickens are out of business she is about ready to be in the tomato and green bean business! So be on the lookout for Elliannas produce! ;)

Kylers Mower is up and running and he is itching to mow some lawns! If you are in Hiawatha and need your yard mowed please think of Ky. He does a quick and excellent job. And his brother will be along to pick up debris before they mow.

Yesterday a very special little girl came to my house with her mama, a t-shirt and some fabric. We measured and discussed design. She wanted the dress longer, her mama wanted it shorter. So I found a design that would make both of them happy. Shorter in front, longer in back. It's not done yet and still needs a few finishing touches but I think it's cute! This little firecracker will look so cute in this red white a blue high-low dress!

Here's a dress I made for Ellianna for the holidays a couple years ago. It finally fits! Lol. She mostly just like playing dress up in it but it was a fun little project. I stole the zipper from a pair of torn up jeans. I love repurposing materials that others would "trash" :)

I also finished an alteration on a bridesmaid dress that was ordered too small, didn't zip and it was too late to re order. So I decided to install a corset back and it worked perfectly. Now she can custom fit the dress by tightening or loosening the ribbon!

It's amazing what one can accomplish with a stack of quarter flats, a sewing machine, a couple hours and with 6 kids running in and out of the house!
I was looking at the Fourth of July outfits at Walmart and decided I could do better and for less money. ;) so now Ellianna is outfitted to be Little Miss Independence Day!
