It's National Sticker Day!

Every kid loves stickers but in the 70s/80s/90s we really made it a thing. Albums full of favorites, some to trade, some we'd never part with. We had puffy stickers, scratch n sniff stickers, cartoon themed stickers, gel-filled stickers--so many kinds.

Did you collect stickers back in the day? Did you have a fancy album or make your own? What was your favorite sticker?

You may have noticed a change in the name at the top of the page. It is newish, but mostly just a blending of two different projects into one main business.

The past several years brought us a lot of highs, lows, and growth spurts in both business and personal life. At times, it even had me questioning if I wanted to continue on this path. Let's be real, I love the vintage hunt and cleaning and learning about the items I find for you. And creativity is a hardwired into my DNA--it's not ever leaving.

After several long discussions with Darling Groom and many hours of thought and consideration, I actually feel refreshed and renewed. I'm excited about what we have planned for the store and our projects. At the same time, I'm scaling back and simplifying my life, our lives together. We are unburdening ourselves of as much of the 'extra' as we can so we can embrace and really focus on the more important things.

Last year I made the decision to begin incorporating my handcrafted items in the booth. It seemed well received. So, we decided that when the new year hit (great time to change) we'd combine both sides of our business under one umbrella. Z-Lightful.

I chose Z-lightful name because it was a play on delightful and our initial. Honestly, it's been a while but I'm feeling that delight in our Z-lightful business once again. :). We have a better idea of what we want to do, our niche, our purpose and my husband and I are committed to bringing you the best while also giving each other our best.

We appreciate anyone who read all of this. It's a lot, but we wanted to let you know you can still expect quality items at fair prices while finding new things to enjoy in our stores (online and at Old Time Finds). Our values haven't changed, but our name, perspective and excitement levels have.

We look forward to serving you in 2026 with some unique finds and thank you, in advance, for your continued patronage. Your support of our small business has blessed us tremendously.
