Sometimes saying goodbye is the hardest part.
For more than 25 years, we've been proud to carry clothing from Sacred Threads, a wonderful company based just down the road in Alachua, Florida.
I had the privilege of working first with the founder and later with his son, Shri'ram. Together they built a brand known for beautiful craftsmanship, vibrant colors, whimsical details, and effortless Florida style.
As a fellow small business owner, I've seen firsthand how rising costs have affected independent retailers and manufacturers. Sacred Threads, whose beautiful garments are made in India, has faced tremendous challenges in recent years. Sadly, they've made the difficult decision to close their business.
Watching a family business close is heartbreaking, especially one that has been part of Lion's Lair for so many years.
Their final collection is, in my opinion, one of the strongest they've ever created. I've purchased as much as I could, but once these pieces are gone, there won't be another opportunity.
