dyeGirl here … stitching the final stitch to complete this gorgeous evil eye canvas from Emily’s Stitchery. This project traveled with me to Tel Aviv, where I purchased the fabric for the backing of a zippered pouch.

I love everything about this project (except working with entice glittery threads — swipe 👉🏻 to see the back of my canvas), including stitching parts of the rainbow all over Israel and hand beading the center of the evil eye. I know I will get so much joy using it as a clutch, and I’m already planning outfits around it.

Thank you to everyone who shared words of encouragement, awe and appreciation for the time and attention this canvas required. I’m so grateful to have you along for the ride !

Spotted … a mini bag charm, stitched almost entirely in one sitting while binging a new show on Netflix. I love how the sparkly rainbow threads pop against the matte finish of a merino wool background. Can’t wait to have her Finished !

Spotted … the MOST spectacular needlepoint art I’ve ever seen. Cindy Saltzman is literally heaven on Earth and Cindy is the loveliest human with a huge heart and a beautiful store. Her sister Randi Randi Gelman is the designer behind many of the gorgeous canvases in her store, and all of them come with stitch guides and a US destination for finishing.

I’m already planning my next trip back to shop, stitch and spend time with needlepoint friends (especially Aliza 🪡 ).

Thank you Cindy for the private shopping experience and feeding my growing love for needlepoint and art.

dyeGirl here on WIP Wednesday. Making good progress on the background of my evil eye canvas from Emily’s Stitchery. Working with Entice glitter threads hasn’t been the easiest, but she’s stitching up exactly how I envisioned (inspired by the gorgeous shimmery patterns by Missoni).

Still on the fence as to how to complete the 🧿— threads or beads ? Basketweave or decorative stitches ? Drop your ideas in the comments !

Spotted … dyeGirl completing her 50th class (since February!) at Pvolve Deerfield with weight training led by the best of the best Rae 🧘🏻‍♀️

I don’t often post about myself, but I thought this milestone deserved a place on my grid. I started my health journey in 2025, when I was in the worst physical shape of my life. Over the last 18 months, I’ve made many commitments to improving my physical wellbeing, and Pvolve Deerfield has been at the core of my transformation!

I LOVE everything about PVolve - the workouts, the teachers and the supportive community of staff and classmates. I felt so celebrated and accomplished this morning, and I’m proud to say I’m heading into my final year in my 40s feeling stronger and more energized than ever. I look forward to every workout and never wish I was anywhere other than in the studio.

A special shout out to Lindsay Martin Cohen and Sara Ravich for introducing me to this incredible community!

dyeGirl here with some EXCITING stitch mail from ArdenGray Co. | Needlepoint. I knew I needed this canvas the minute I saw her post it on Insta before Market, and it arrived so much faster than I expected!!!!!

I’ve already kit this fun canvas with threads from Emily’s Stitchery and will be starting on it this week! I’m already dreaming of finishing it into a ruffled pillow for my bedroom.

Spotted … my WIP this Wednesday. I saw this canvas on Lycette Needlepoint and knew I HAD to use the Fyre Werks neon pink soft sheen sparkly thread from my stash to stitch it.

Concerned that the thread wouldn’t provide full coverage on 13 mesh, I chose a padded satin stitch, which is creating a bubble letter effect I’m loving.

This one is stitching up quickly so maybe you’ll see her again on Finish Friday ! 💚🩷
