Where does the time go?

16 years ago Penny, Lauren and I had a dream to open up a boutique . When our building came available we jumped on it without hesitation. Within 2 months we were open for business not knowing if it would work or not we just did it. When I think back about all the trips we made to wholesale warehouses in Pennsylvania buying merchandise I have to laugh. My truck was so full you couldn't fit a quarter in it. The 3 of us were stuffed in the front seat, we had a blast and made lots of memories. Lauren moved to Texas in our 3rd year so it was just Penny and I for the next 13 years. We were very fortunate to have lots of help along the way, my sister Debbie started working for us mainly on the weekends and other days as needed. Our daughters, Kimmie, Katie and Jenny helped out when they could also, it was a family affair! We were also lucky to have incredible girls work for us and support us along the way, Christine, Bryanne, Danielle, Heather, Kristen and Alana. We love you guys and loved having you along for our journey.

Today is the final day of our dream, and once again we want to thank our community for supporting us, we have built incredible bonds with our customers and you won't be forgotten.

Thanks to everyone for taking this ride with us for the last 16 years. We are so grateful and blessed.

Just an update on what is happening at Serendipity!

Our last day at the store will be this Friday 2/28, we will be open Tuesday through Friday 10 - 5. Penny and I will be there together all week to clean up and say our goodbyes. We are going into our 16th year and couldn't have done it without all our wonderful customers. We will miss you and the store! The new owner will take over the first of March and I believe she will be closed for a few weeks but not 100%. Keep watching fb or I'm sure there will be a note on the door as to when she will be re-opening. Our sale is still on going so stop in and see us this week!
