Welcome back, teachers and students! 🍎📚 Inspired by Back to the Future, I had the fun idea to turn it into “Back to School” while also teaching myself a new technique using Gaussian Blur. When it came time to model the shirt, I knew it had to be my mom.

I looked at my calendar today and realized that in the last 2 weeks, I worked out once.

And I told myself, I’m tired of feeling mediocre in the things that matter to me. I hit a plateau, got discouraged, and forgot how damn good it feels just to show up.

So today, I worked out, cleared my head, and reminded myself that progress doesn’t always look like progress. I’m also focusing on feeling better. (mentally and physically)

✨New at the shop✨
A few new designs inspired by life lately: teaching my daughter her ABCs, story time at the library, and Ohio finally starting to remember the sun exists… kind of. Not this week, but we’re getting there lol.

I’ve had books, letters, beach days, and summer mornings on my mind, so this little collection came out of that. For tiny readers, book nerds, beach people, and anyone mentally already packing a towel and sunscreen. 📚☀️🌊

Becoming a mom changed everything and I’m so grateful for my daughter and what my body did. Seriously, ✨Women are truly incredible.✨ This year I get to celebrate Mother’s Day and my birthday on the same day… How cool is that? 🥹🥰

But I want to be completely honest with you, my body isn’t what it used to be. After almost two years of not prioritizing my health, I needed something to change. The thought that changed everything for me was: If I was a character in a video game… would I choose me? At that time I couldn’t say yes which in turn put a fire in my soul 🔥

You don’t need a gym or new workout clothes. All you need is Youtube and to create a realistic and obtainable goal. Start small and gradually add challenges to keep it fun and interesting.

I’m 4 months in. Being real, it hasn’t been perfect. There’s been pain from previous injuries, a lot of chiropractor visits, ice, heating pads, and now mandatory stretching. Working through them and listening to my body has been key.
