Getting ready for my class at the Thimble Pleasures Quilt Guild on Saturday! George and I had a wonderful time giving a presentation a couple of weeks ago in Upton, Massachusetts to this guild, and we're looking forward to teaching them how to paint this beautiful quilted Iris with Inktense Pencils. 🎨🖌️

Another finished project! 🤩 I bought an old dictionary at an antique shop a couple of years ago while vacationing in Missouri, and I've certainly put it to good use! If you look closely at the dictionary page, you can spot a vintage sewing machine behind the middle button. In a previous post, I also painted a mushroom on a dictionary page, and if you look closely, you can see both the word "mushroom" and an image of a group of mushrooms.

Just wrapped up painting this whole cloth lap quilt at a quilting retreat in York Beach, Maine! I went for a vintage vibe to match the ticking fabric. Hoping to get the binding done soon, it needs a vintage look as well. What do you think? 🎨🧵

My most recent presentation and class was this week at The Friendship Quilters Guild in Bedford, Nh https://bedfordquilters.org/ I was fortunate to be able to stay for their meeting. They had a great spread of food , lots of raffles, and a wonderful display of show and tell! A great time was had by all. Here are a few pictures.
