The lei I made for our anniversary back in April.

I had ordered a Maile lei a week before our anniversary, but the facebook marketplace dude flaked out.. big time. So that afternoon I foraged about in our yard and created this special lei for Uncle Mr. Martha. Gardenias, Orchids, Croton, Puakenikeni, and Rainbow Plumeria from Keaukaha. Uniquely one of a kind, for a no doubt about it, one of a kind guy.

Saying Aloha and Mahalo to my beast of a companion. Lots of problems that were too complicated to fix. She served me well for 35+ years. Too many sewing hours to calculate. Plus I bought her used from a garment factory in Honolulu. She still stitched along not so reliably but boy was she fast. What a beast! Aloha Friend.
