Throwback time...after starting with leaves and found objects, this was one of the first t-shirts I made using a detailed design, back in 2009. It was a one-off stencil cut from freezer paper. Hat tip to any fellow nerds who recognize the theme. š

On a secluded beach graced with hala and naupaka, honuŹ»ea (hawksbill turtle) hatchlings, guided by moonlight, begin their perilous journey. The males will never return to land. The females that survive- about 1 in 1000-may one day find their way back to this beach to lay their own eggs.
My newest design honors their remarkable odyssey. Now in stock on black unisex crews, and other colors by special order.

I create my garments in small āartisanalā batches šso itās easy to do special orders. Recently a lady who paddles with a local canoe club asked me to do the outrigger design on a v neck, in red, because thatās her club color. I resized it a bit to fit, and she loves it. Now that I have the smaller stencil, I can also offer this design on a ladies tank!

Dinner at the Manago is one of the best parts of doing the Kokua Kailua Stroll each month. The ono sautĆ©ed in butter is my go-to. š The food is wonderful, and so is the staff!
