11 years ago, my wife and I got divorced and I hit rock bottom. Something had to change, not her, but me. A year later I checked into Fairbanks Recovery Center. That is where my lifetime recovery started and I met three of the best friends a man could ever find, my recovery brothers. 10 years ago we started this sobriety journey together as husband and wife once again. I am the alcoholic, but my wife’s love for me and a chance at a better life, she chose the Soberlife as well. We laugh, cry, fight, communicate, support and love each other everyday. We enjoy hearing other people’s journeys and continue to embrace this sober journey.
